Boiler Tubes

Steel boiler tubes are alloyed and non-alloyed steel pipes used in steam boilers, hot water boilers, heat exchangers, and superheaters (also known as superheated steam generators). Since they operate at temperatures of 300°C and above, which can lead to production losses if not properly selected, the choice of boiler tube type and the quality of the manufacturing technique used are critically important.

They are manufactured in accordance with the TS EN 10217-2 standard, with black or water-based protective surface coatings, plain ends or beveled ends, and diameters ranging between 51.00 mm and 76.1 mm. The standard length is 6 meters, but depending on the project requirements, special lengths between 4 and 12 meters can also be produced.

• Material: Typically made from carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel. Material selection depends on the temperature, pressure, and chemical properties of the medium being transported.

• Dimensions: Available in various diameters and wall thicknesses.

• Structure: Can be either welded or seamless. Seamless tubes are preferred for high-pressure applications.

• Surface: Surfaces may be black, galvanized, or painted.

• Durability: Must be resistant to high temperatures and pressures, and also to corrosion.
